MICTA / ATALLIANCE ANNOUNCE VIDEO INTEGRATION SERVICES AGREEMENTS

(9/22/04) MiCTA and the ATAlliance are extremely pleased to announce that Applied Global Technologies (www.appliedglobal.com), with corporate offices in Rockledge , Florida , has executed an Endorsed Level-1 Agreement under the Video Integration Services RFP. AGT was the sole vendor to receive an Endorsed Level-1 award under the VIS RFP, which was based on their capability to provide integration services and video equipment direct to Members both nationwide as well as internationally, strength of their financial verification, excellent customer references, strong product line offering, as well as their overall response to the RFP requirements. AGT will provide Members with both nationwide and international integration services, video equipment, as well as many other value added products and services. As an additional service, AGT has a current USF SPIN number, and is ready to assist MiCTA / ATAlliance USF eligible Members with their Priority-2 video requirements. MSC is currently working with AGT to develop a marketing strategy for the VIS program, and is in the process of posting an AGT page to the MiCTA website. INNOVATIVE COMMUNICATIONS INC.
(9/23/04) MiCTA and the ATAlliance are also excited to announce that Innovative Communications, Inc. ( www.1ici.com ), with corporate offices located in Saginaw , Michigan , has signed an Endorsed Level-2 Agreement under the Video Integration Services RFP. ICI, the incumbent provider under the prior video RFP, is known for delivering excellent products and services as well as creative video solutions for MiCTA / ATAlliance Members, and will continue to do so under the new VIS Agreement. ICI will provide Members with nationwide integration services, video equipment, and various other value added products and services. Additionally, ICI has a USF SPIN number, and will assist with Priority-2 video requirements for USF eligible MiCTA / ATAlliance Members. MSC and ICI will be developing a new marketing strategy for the VIS program, and will post details on the ICI page on the MiCTA website. (05/07/04) MiCTA Service Corporation, in conjunction with the Video Integration Services RFP #MSC-0008, filed and received certification for the first nationwide consortium Form 470 under the Federal Universal Service Fund (USF) program. The form was filed on behalf of MiCTA and the ATAlliance members who will be purchasing Priority 2 – Internal Connections e-rate eligible products and services offered under the resulting VIS contracts. Members will not be required to rebid these products and services as this RFP meets state requirements for USF program purchases.
Endorsed Level-1 (Endorsed-1): Offered to vendor(s) who meet and/or exceed all core RFP and evaluation criteria requirements, meet or exceed RFP preparation standards, demonstrate excellent fiscal reporting, receive excellent customer references, provide strong nationwide and international coverage with remote sales / service offices available regionally, provides a strong product line selection, and were determined to provide the best overall value.
Endorsed Level-2 (Endorsed-2): Offered to vendor(s) who meet most core RFP and evaluation criteria requirements, meet most RFP preparation standards, demonstrate very good fiscal reporting, receive excellent to very good customer references, provide very good geographical coverage with fewer remote sales / service offices, provides a very good product line selection, and were determined to provide a very good overall value.
Approved: Offered to vendors who minimally meet most core RFP and evaluation criteria requirements, minimally met RFP preparation standards, demonstrate good fiscal reporting, received good to very good vendor references, provides good geographical coverage with some strategic remote sales / services offices, provides a good product line selection, and was determined to provide a good overall value.
