New Agreements Resulting from the Video Integration Services RFP

Applied Global Technologies www.appliedglobal.com

MiCTA and the ATAlliance are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with Applied Global Technologies (AGT) as an Endorsed Level-1 provider. AGT will offer MiCTA and ATAlliance members a comprehensive video integration service. This service includes equipment, A/V integration, and engineering, programming, and tactical as well as strategic collaboration management services. In addition, AGT will provide proprietary implementation and management tools designed to aid the implementation of collaborative technologies for MiCTA and the ATAlliance. ATG is headquartered in Rockledge, Florida with field support offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, Okinawa, Ottawa, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco, Virginia Beach and Washington, D.C. This three-year agreement was effective on September 20, 2004.

MiCTA and the ATAlliance are pleased to announce that Innovative Communications, Inc., headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan, has signed an Endorsed Level-2 Agreement under the Video Integration Services RFP for a three-year term. ICI, the incumbent provider under the prior video RFP, is known for delivering excellent products and services as well as creative video solutions for MiCTA / ATAlliance Members, and will continue to do so under the new VIS Agreement. ICI will provide Members with nationwide integration services, video equipment, and various other value added products and services. Additionally, ICI has a USF SPIN number (#143 006 750), and will assist with Priority-2 video requirements for USF eligible MiCTA / ATAlliance Members. MSC and ICI will be developing a new marketing strategy for the VIS program, and will post details on the ICI page on the MiCTA website. MiCTA and the ATAlliance would like to congratulate ICI on their new Endorsed Level-2 agreement, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with ICI.

In conjunction with the Video Integration Services ( VIS ) RFP #MSC-0008, MiCTA Service Corporation, on behalf of MiCTA and the ATA, filed the first nationwide consortium Form 470 #662880000498558 under the Federal Universal Service Fund program. Members using the agreements resulting from the VIS RFP will not be required to re-bid codec purchases as they meet state requirements for USF program purchases. Negotiations continue with two other vendors, which responded to the Video Integration Services RFP.

October 21 -Applied Global Technologies and TANDBERG: Driving Adoption of Collaborative Conferencing

Webinar to offer the latest information on how to maximize collaborative conferencing usage

Ellen Wolfhagen, former contracts attorney for the State of Washington, specializes in procurements for state educational networks. Ellen joined the SLD as Counsel and then became Director of Service Provider Support.
