But more needs to be done for technology to reach its full potential in schools

When implemented carefully--with adequate attention paid to training, support, and evaluation--technology has been found to have a significant positive impact on student learning across all areas of the curriculum, according to a new report. So, why do critics of educational technology still decry the billions of dollars being spent on ed tech in schools across the nation? MiCTA Service Corporation is pleased to announce that Glenn Doke has joined the team and as our newest Technology Specialist. Glenn was formerly Network Administrator for Alma Bolt Company in Alma, MI and has held positions with other businesses in the Central Michigan area.

In his position, Glenn will be responsible for systems support, web administration, equipment testing, and technical support.
